Hi eajh

Where did you get your patch? Sounds like you have PG2?

You need to remove this patch, and go get the official MXpie patch from http://www.mxpie.com/downloads.html

This will install the offical MXpie patch, and pglyte with the WmW winmx specific block list, ensuring you are blocking the Riaa agents effectively.

With regards to your ULs and DLs it sounds like something is blocking these, most likely either your router or fw. If you are running XP check that the XP firewall hasnt kicked in, try switching it off and any other fw you may have (just for a moment, dont forget to put it back on). Once the firewall/s is off, try Winmx again see if the trouble is resolved? If it then works fine, you know its a fw configuration issue, if not, most likely router.

For router set up help visit www.portforward.com and select port forwarding, choose your router make and model and then select Winmx from the program list, this will then provide you with instructions as to how to configure your router.

This is just going from the info your provided, get back to us and let us know how you get on.

Good luck
