When Google has never heard of "the world's largest global transportation company' we can assume your scam sniffing tool is still working...

Recently on 60 Minutes (US news show) they had a story about a similar scam...a company in Africa was using US citizens, "agents", to drop-ship parcels to Africa...turns out that all the merchandise being re-shipped from the "agents" in the US to the "African purchasers" was being paid for with stolen US credit card numbers...guess who the US Attorney General's Office is going after? It sure as hell isn't the Africans...$3100 per month can get you 20 years in a federal pen...LOL

Was this an email they sent you?

Sounds a lot like this to me:

http://cranialsoup.blogspot.com/2006/12 ... opers.html

To make it short & sweet...this is what a guy that has a lot of knowledge & experience with this sort of thing had to say when I asked him if the emails of job offers I have been recieving were scams to get personal info from me:

Quote:
<tinjaw> no, it is low-level recruiters who troll the Net looking for people that have computer knowledge to fill some client's needs. Most of the recruiters that do that are crappy recruiters with openings at crappy companies.

I think this is probably the same thing.

Edit: Oh I see now where this came from. It wasn't an email.
/me plays Nirvana - Smells like team spamming.
