For a while now, i have had a celebrity profiles type website, its about 150 pages long, it earns me a little, perhaps 20-30c per day, not exactly retirement material. The site didnt have much content on it, each celeb had their own page with 1 picture and a profile, many of the pages had only the picture and no profile. I set the site up with good intentions but other things took over and i never really got around to writing content for many of the pages. The site was on a fairly unattactive template, and was recieving around 30-60 unique visitors per day, mostly from Google images.
About a week ago, i found a little time (finally!) and decided to update the site. I started with a simple template change, something lighter and brighter, its not gonna win any desgin awards but its definatly a huge visual improvement. I also noticed another issue, i had made a small typo in the way the php pulled in each pages unique page description, the result was every page had the same description, search engines HATE this, so i have this week corrected that.
I have also begun adding some content, not huge amounts, but i have added a few bits here and there, perhaps 10 new profiles. I have around 50 more almost ready to add with pics (still editing!)
I have also spent a little time link building, when i say a little time, perhaps 1 - 2 hours of work, you can see details of what i did
HereSo all in all i have given the site a spring clean, and whilst its still pulling traffic mostly from google images (not gonna get huge adsense clicks from there), i have seen a rather impressive improvement in traffic, so i thought i would share it with you:

No prizes for guessing where in the graph i began the spring cleaning!
