LMFAO...don't blame me, Joe. MY country is independant from the UK (unlike some countries that I could mention who still have Queen Elizabeth II as the "Queen of Canada"). However, I think if I lived in a country that had a high unemployment rate (I dunno, let's just say ENGLAND) there wouldn't be too many jobs that they could ass me (or ask me) to do that I wouldn't jump on the opportunity...

In my area the Puerto Ricans are pissed off because the Mexicans are taking all their sweatshop jobs away from them.

The fact is, all hispanic immigrants are not created equal and employers would rather have a hard working Mexican willing to do anything for a buck than a lazy Puerto Rican afraid of breaking a nail, brings their brats to work, and wants to be paid extra for working on weekends.

Now I am not an employer, so none of that is my views. I am just repeating what one of my former employers said to a customer when asked why Mexicans were making the 'Italian' food.

From working with her as the only other English speaking person in the place, I can tell you her observations are more or less correct.

The Mexicans did things the way you told them, never got an attitude, never complained about having to work later, never complained about what they got paid. They bust their asses....with a smile.

The Puerto Ricans, they wanted to do things their way, complain about everything, you train them and after about 3 months act like they own the place and your business will collapse if you fire them.

What they don't realize is there is a Mexican waiting outside the door willing to be trained and do the job right....with a smile.

I dont have any against anyone inparticular, but i am a strong beleiver that if you go to live and work in another country, you should abopt that nations language and culture. For my money anyone not willing to speak in the native tounge of that land, should be deported.

I had considered at one time moving to America, but i do not wish to learn to speak American, so i cancelled my plans. :wink:

lol i live in calif and the mexicans are taking over the whole state any jobs that were decent are now turning to shit because the greedy employers will hire these people and exploit them. long hours no overtime, no benefits no nothing just shit pay and long hours. i feel the working class people born in america should stop doing trade with any buisnees that hires them.. and send a clear message out to stop giving jobs away
