Just a little background, the clips below are from very popular motoring show called Top Gear, 3 guys basically motoring journalists review various cars for the show. In the last few series they have moved more and more into motoring based entertainment, taking on a series of car based challenages, for example:

1 such feature involved one of the guys driving a Bugatti Veyron from Italy to London whilst the other 2 used a plane and public transport., the car ofc won, but only just.

The latest challange they set out was a road trip across the USA, BUT the difference is, instead of hiring cars, they would have to buy cars for less money than the price of hiring one. Along the route the shows producers gave them various challenges to undertake in their cars. One such challange is shown in the 2 clips below, it starts about 3 mins into the first clip and finishes in the 2nd clip and involves some rather dangerous but amusing slogans on their cars whilst driving through Alabama.

Enjoy:

For the Americans here:

Car = automobile
motoring show = show about automobiles
motoring journalist = journalist specialising in automobiles
Alabama = Rather fucked up US state
Italy = Insignificant country in Europe famous for pizzas
London = Centre of the world
Bugatti Veyron = worlds fastest production car

1. In Texas a "car" is a vehicle
2. Motoring Show = Car Show
3. Motoring Jounalist = A journalist who can't afford to fly...
4. Alabama = Rather fucked up state anywhere, not just in the US
5. Italy didn't invent Pizza we did, or rather 2 US soldiers did just after world war II using an idea that they had while serving in Italy.
6. London = CENTER of the world...wait, isn't the center of the world nothing but magma and lava and such, oh ok, I see your point...
7. Bugatti Veyron = world's fastest production car "according to the Italians"...but we know how those people lie...they all claim that they aren't in the Mafia and that they invented Pizza when we know damned well that it was a couple of American GI's that invented Pizza and they wasn't even Italian...

Stuff like:

Hilary Clinton for President

Gay and proud

Bi is best

Nascar is shit

Country and Western Sucks

You get the idea, stuff that locals in that area would be rather irritated at.

One of the presenters blogs is here http://www.topgear.com/blogs/planettopg ... e-alabama/

I found the whole thing pretty hilarios, especially when the lady who owned the gas station "called the boys" who showed up in a classic style pickup and began stoning the presenters and camera crew, who basically ran for their lives, after all this is a state that shoots its own road signs :compress:

I kind of feel bad for Byte...having them for neighbors.

But then again...I live in NJ...we have drivers in a class by themselves. Even NY cab drivers hate NJ drivers.

If you ever are cut off by some grumpy granny shortly after entering the state, and she swears at you, blows her horn, and gives you the finger, just understand that is her way of saying 'Welcome to NJ. Now get out of my way, asshole. Bingo starts in 5 minutes'.
