Much of KM's recent actions will come as no surprise to folks over here, lets face it most of us saw right through KM a long long time ago, but i just thought i would update you with his latest bs. I have gone for the rough guide here, not a perfect timetable of events so forgive me if i missed out anything.

- KM shuts down Winmx group leaving the users of his patch unable to connect and a certain level of network chaos

- He then offered a small amount of assistance to stabalise things short term (how gracious of him ay?)

- WmW release a hex edited version of KM's patch that connects to a number of new caches.

- A number of user, both Pie supporters and WmW folks, team up and work on a new KM free patch, this patch is due to be open source.

- KM and some of his supporters at WmW attack the new patch before its even been written.

- KM illustrates his attitude and issues a DMCA notice against WmW to remove his patch from their servers, this can be viewed here: http://www.winmxworld.com/tutorials/connection.html

- KM threatens to hand over Winmx protocol and other such sensitive material to Media Sentry (Riaa agents)

- It also seems KM has a public site set up tha can monitor users searches on the wpn, this is something i always suspected he had done and is a clear violation of users privacy.

In addition to all this its been noted that there is a problem in the code of the WCS server (KMs chat server) this issue, that he puts down to a typo is causing problems for all in the Winmx chat channel list.

If you are using any KM 'software' i would strongly suggest you remove it urgently, this has always been my advice, but now so with his current disregard for users and Winmx its more urgent that ever.

If anyone out there is archiving or offering KM software for download do not be surprised if you recieve a DMCA takedown notice, please note it must have KM's real name and real contact details on it to be valid.

I wonder if that offer of $1000 from vladd is still on the table?

Hi Thad, good to see you. Much of what has been said here is things that I predicted over 2 years ago. I saw KM for what he was and tried to warn users about him on this site and on Vladd's site. Nobby has tried to warn users also. Km is and always has been an agent of the RIAA/MPAA and his goal was to take over WinMX in order to turn it into a pay per download site. I once saw a list of room users and their IP's that he had. Why would he collect that type of information unless he intended to use it in the future? He attempted to disrupt the chat side of WinMX even before Frontcode went belly up. It should come as no surprise the antics that he is pulling now. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he wasn't involved or at least instigated Joshie's little crime spree. KM is a snake with no morals or common decency. As far as him "saving" WinMX when Frontcode went down, I remember the conversation in Vlad44 Chat when it happened. KM was the one who was crying doom and that everyone should find a different p2p. If anyone deserves any credit for the resurrection of WinMX it should go to Ramna, The ItalianMX, TSC, LVHC, Vladd, Nobby, Gems, Bughunter, Canada Joe, Yourself, and many others who worked with the temporary Hosts patch that was developed and tried to keep WinMX online. It was KM and his .dll patch that tried to split WinMX and divide the users. Once again these are dark days for WinMX, but the users, pulling together shall weather out the storm. We didn't need KM in the last crisis and we surely don't need him now. We will survive. WinMX belongs to the users, not any one individual.
