Folks I have been patient with KM but he has steadfstly refused to do two things that have been asked of him

1) Update the "typo" in his WCS 1.8 RC series that have been causing listing problems for many chat users and hosts for some time now. (see below)

2) Discontinue displaying private searches made on the network, handing all your IP info to anyone like the RIAA, bayTSP who may want to send you a extortion threat letter without proof as they normally do.

I have not pressed him hard to resolve these matters as I should have done earlier and this was for the simple reason I did not want matters to deteriorate further than they have done over the past few weeks, it now clear he has no intention of respecting anyone rights to use mx or their rights to privacy, I apologise for waiting and hoping he would do the right thing.

For this reason can I ask all users of the WCS 1.8 RC series 1-6 to first email KM for a fix and if thats not forthcoming then to discontinue using it as its being used to maliciously attack the network.

This is not the first time KM has made a bug that affects us all ( MCS chat server secondary client crashing bug) but it is the first time he has sat by blaming others over the weeks for problems he himself is making by abusing the network protocol, I hope you can all agree this is not whats expected of him and join with me in asking him to stop acting stupidly and sort these important matters out, it is after all expected that he likes to experiment but when it destroys a large portion of the communitys enjoyment of the network driving them away we must tell him with one voice enough is enough, since his last patch and cache pulling escapades we have lost something like 100 + chat rooms, a true loss to the community.

KM, do the right thing and resolve these matters, neither I nor the community give in to blackmail or more threats, this is not open for debate, please take action today.
