OK, I reloaded WinMX and the pie patch. I followed the instructions front to back and still no connection. I turned off my firewall temporarily to see if that was holding it up, still no connection.
Am I doing something wrong or is it beyond my control???
Please help, I want my WinMX back.

Hey, can you give some more specifics, what exactly have you installed, and what instructions have you followed?
If your running the auto updater, did you check your AV didnt prevent the hosts being written? Did you right click the pie icon in your system tray and click "Manually update" ?
Post back with details and we will get you up and running asap
