 Post subject: Software for cleaning file names?

I need to clean up around 6000 files names, into lower case, replacing spaces with underscores etc, does anyone know of anything that will do this sort of thing automatically?

I have googling around, so far, ive not found anything suitable.

hmmm, after 30mins of searching i came across a utility so good its certainly worthy of a recommendation and a link. If you need a rename and or tidy up a load of file names, this is the software for you!
