I have for some time known about this development, but was sitting on it to avoid certain pressures on the developer, but as it seems to have been made public, seems no point in not publicising it. The project is still in early stages and public release so far is secondary only, although some texting of a primary version is underway, you can check out the project here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/winpy

Thanks to String, Maxe and GS and a few other behind the scenes for their efforts, this looks promising at this stage.
